Architecture students from the University of Technology in Sydney launched a temporary outdoor exhibition which displayed visions for the future of Peterborough Village / Pita Kāik.
The students were invited to work with the community on how it can respond positively to the impact of the earthquake and consequences like the new TC3 classification (green/blue) for building on the soft ground.
A display system that has been designed and constructed by the students was donated to the Christchurch community to be re-used in future outdoor exhibitions.
This project was organised by Barnaby Bennett. Enquiries to him via www.projectfreerange.com. It was carried out in association with The Peterborough Village Community, with additional support from Gap Filler.
