Retro Sports every day!

Play with the sporting equipment on site: Big Ball, football, bowls, cricket, hula hoops – all here free for your delight!

Dance-O-Mat every day!

The Dance-O-Mat is a coin operated dance floor that anyone can use. Bring along a $2 coin and your phone or mp3 player, to play 30 minutes of your own music and boogie down! 141 Gloucester Street, F8am – 10pm every day.

Gap Golf every day!

Four holes (for now!) and it’s FREE to play! Putters and balls can be borrowed from the following:

  • Monday – Friday: Gap Filler office at The Commons, Peterborough St Library and The Herb Centre (Kilmore & Barbadoes St)
  • Sunday: Peterborough St library
  • BYO at any time

Sound Garden every day!

The Sound Garden is opposite the library on Peterborough Street. We think it’s fab and we reckon heaps of kids will too! Have a look at the revamped site.

Gap Cache every day!

What was a very successful urban treasure hunt spanning the school holiday period is now being extended.  Download your copy of the Gap Cache map (PDF) or get your paper copy from Central Library Peterborough or Gap Filler HQ at The Commons.

How to play

  1. Bring some small pieces of treasure to swap
  2. Bike or catch the bus into town
  3. Find your closes Gap cache and search for the letterbox
  4. Open up the box and trade the treasure
  5. Write your name in the log book, find a clue in the letter box and take a rubbing
  6. Find the next cache
