Gap Filler offers a wide range of placemaking services including engagement, strategy, design and construction/implementation. We regularly work with local and regional councils, community groups, developers and development agencies, arts and community trusts and funding agencies.   • Placemaking strategy and programme design
    • Can design a placemaking strategy and/or programme to suit any area, timeframe, budget or other constraints
    • Will always incorporate local stakeholder engagement
    • Will always develop something original, exciting and specific to your context
    • We can also oversee implementation of a strategy or programme in part or in full

  • Installation design and implementation
    • Can take your site, stakeholders, constraints and desired outcomes, and develop fun, interactive and creative installation concepts to achieve your ends
    • Can take a chosen concept through developed and detailed design, and construct and deliver it
    • Partnership on development design and delivery
    • Can partner with planners, designers, landscape architects to get better placemaking outcomes in their developments of buildings and civic spaces
    • Can also design and implement activation programmes and strategies for any area

  • Professional placemaking consultancy
    • Advising local governments and development agencies to get good placemaking outcomes
    • Typically involves workshops and stakeholder engagement, culminating in presentations and a report of findings and recommendations
    • Can be engaged to implement the recommendations

  • Conference keynotes, public talks and lectures
    • Can translate our experience into many disciplinary frameworks, with public talks on Architecture, Art, Collaboration, Creative Process, Design, Education, Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Leadership, Public Health, Mental Health and Wellbeing, Philosophy, Placemaking, Planning, Political Science, Resource Management, Sociology, Theatre and more
