It’s time to say goodbye to a couple of our projects. Gap Golf and Gap Cache are being retired.
Gap Golf first began in Sydenham back in 2012 and has been in existence ever since with a varying number of holes around the city. In its heyday there were as many as 9 holes. Some of the holes were built by us, some by volunteers. The golf hole at The Commons (Fairway to Heaven) still gets used daily but other holes less so. We’ll be slowly retiring the number of holes around the city in the coming months. The last to go will be Fairway to Heaven at The Commons, which is probably the best used of all.
Gap Cache has been a kids project that’s gotten a lot of use particularly in the school holidays. This project will be retired this month.
